The communications and PR firm Jomono needed a new website and turned to us for a quick and easy to manage solution.
- They had done a few trials using Joomla but got stuck in the process and ended up with a static HTML-page, explains Mats Ingelborn, SolutionPlanet. This is something we see quite often.

Baring the nature of this company they really needed to have a professional and easy to manage website. Jomono’s managing director Åsa Grönlund contacted SolutionPlanet as she heard we worked with WordPress and heard that WP was fast, easy and simple.

- As Jomono already had a layout ready the process from start to a published website with a totally unique design was quite swift, explains Mats. Deciding on a layout or design is usually what takes most time.

The web shop SFQ.se has been selling hosiery in Sweden since 2003. We have now assisted in taking this successful shop into the mobile world.
As always when you work with a mobile interface you have to re-think and re-work many of the methods and processes we take for granted on the Internet. The goal was to develop a user interface that was friendly for finger touch control and also represent what we think users will need from a mobile device.

This resulted in a simple nine icons start page that will take the user to the most interesting and most popular items by categories.
We also opted for a very simple checkout process using invoicing only. With the service provided by the invoicing partner (Svea Ekonomi) all details such as full name and home address is retrieved by just entering the 10 digit social security number. This way the customer does not have to key in name, addresses and credit card details that can be a struggle on a mobile device.

SolutionPlanet is helping a global security company revitalise an old system and the result is astonishing.

Some 15 years ago a Lotus Notes system was developed to support the product development cycle for the Swedish HQ. The system had to confirm to the ISO9000 standard that was being reinforced throughout the organisation and was to assist the product department with all documents and information during the process. The system was also used by the whole company to get information on the products, their status and relating documents.

During the past months SolutionPlanet has developed a totally new user experience for the old system. Some new features has also been added and the result is increased usage and a total revitalisation of the old solution. Now everyone wants in and several other web-base solution are linking directly into the product information.
The new solution has also reached beyond its intended borders and found new users in both Norway and Finland.

This is a very useful plugin when you want to extend your WordPress site with custom PHP code. For a client project we have hacked this plugin to support QueryStrings.

You can now let the plugin pass the whole QueryString to your own PHP-code within an iFrame.

Description

Include It is a plugin that permits the inclusion, in a post or in a page, of any type of file (even a php script that will be executed). I use it to write some functionalities needed in some pages, without creating special template pages (that are theme dependant) and without using a “php code executor”.

The inclusion can be forced to be within an IFRAME html tag.
And this version also support passing the original request’s QueryString variables allowing you to get dynamic content for your inclusion.

Installation

Upload the plugin folder into your “wp-content/plugins”. Log in to WordPress Administration area, choose “Plugins” from the main menu, find “Include”, and click the “Activate” button. Go to the options page and read the usage explanations.
